About the event

Saturday 14th November 2026

Otley EMOM (Electronic Music Open Mic) returns to Otley Common for its second edition on Saturday 14th November 2026.

The launch event in June brought 11 original live electronic music acts from all over the north of England together for a fun night of live beats and electronic jams. It also brought in a full room of enthusiastic music fans who soaked up every minute of it.

Come meet like minded music fans and consider performing yourself - EMOM's are a welcoming platform to share your own musical experiments with other creators. All sounds, styles and experience levels welcome!

The format will be the ‘Classic’ EMOM format – two tables, a stereo line input and a microphone. One performer sets up whilst the other table is playing, then straight into the next.

Tickets to attend are FREE, but please consider a donation to help support Otley Common's operations and refurbishment.

15mins slots are available - please apply using the link below!

Otley EMOM Performer application 14-11-26
Apply here to perform at Otley EMOM Saturday 14th November 2026 at Otley Common, Wesley Hall, Otley Methodist Church, 65 Walkergate, Otley, West Yorkshire, LS21 1AG Important Points - and by completing the form you agree to these 1. The stage will have two tables approximately 4ft x 2ft. Each table will have a 13a 4-gang plug board, 2x DI boxes and access to a microphone. You will setup whilst the performer prior to you is playing for 15 minutes. There will be no sound check other than to confirm the mixing desk is receiving signals from the DI boxes. We prefer you to supply a stereo mix on 1/4 inch jack leads (bring your own leads). The Soundsystem will be setup so you can hear the FOH speakers and this will be the main form of monitoring (If you are singing you will need to get right on the mic and give a strong level) 2. Set times are 15 minutes. If you play longer we may have to fade you out if it jeapordises other perfomers getting the chance to play. 3. You need to clear your equipment as soon as you have finished playing so the next performer has chance to get setup. 4. Set times will be randomly allocated and we will let you know before the event. If you have any circumstances that mean you can't arrive early or must leave early, let us know in the question below 5. We are currently planning the event to run from 6.30 to 10.30pm on Saturday 6th June, however we may need to adjust these times a little When you complete this form, we will respond to confirm a slot is available and share further contact details.

Sound from the hand crafted Wonky Soundsystem plus lighting and analogue video FX !
